          Fungal infections (sweat rash) of the skin can cause redness and irritation. Commonly found between the toes (Athletes feet) or in the groin area (Dhabi itch) It can be treated by anti-fungal creams available from our pharmacist.


          Haemorrhoids

          These are commonly swelling found internally or externally in the anus area. They can itch, be painful and in some instances bleed. We pharmacist can prescribe creams with applicators to ease the discomfort.


          Hair loss

          Hair loss can impact your confidence negatively. Our pharmacist can prescribe clinically proven treatments - tablets and applications - to help restore hair.


          Hay fever

          Some individuals suffer considerably from the symptoms of hay fever and over the counter products are simply not enough to suppress treatments. We can prescribe prescription strength treatments to better manage these symptoms. 


          Hives

          Hives, or urticaria, is a skin rash that can be triggered by stress. Classic symptoms include

          Raised, red patches  (also known as weals) or spots

          Itching, stinging and burning

          Other triggers include certain foods, cold weather and contact with certain substances. However, if your symptoms last a while, or if they’re very uncomfortable (e.g. very itchy), you can take over-the-counter antihistamines.

          Impetigo

          Impetigo is a highly contagious skin infectionPresents as red sores or blisters, that soon burst to leave crusty, golden-brown patches. it is not often serious and can resolve within a few days with prescribed treatments from our pharmacist.

          Symptoms of a migraine include a severe headache - often on one side of the head, nausea, vomiting sensitivity to light, sound and smells; some sufferers will experience an aura (flashing lights or opaque spots).           Nausea

          Nausea (feeling of sickness) can be caused by many factors but before prescribing anything our pharmacist will want to find out whether you have any other medical conditions.

          This describes patches of red, dry, flaky and that develop on the head underneath the hair.

          Shingles is a painful rash caused by a viral infection. Our vaccination service can protect against shingles and comprises just two two doses. It’s suitable for people 50+ years.


          Strep A antibiotics

          We can prescribe antibiotics for the bacterial condition known as Strep Throat (pharyngitis). Common symptoms of this include: Throat pain that usually comes on quickly, pain when swallowing, red / swollen tonsils, sometimes with white patches or streaks of pus, tiny red spots on the area at the back of the roof of the mouth (soft or hard palate), swollen, tender lymph nodes in your neck, fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting, especially in younger children. Note  sore throats may also be due to virus, in this instance antibiotics would no be appropriate. Speak to our pharmacist for free advice.


          Thrush

          Thrush is a yeast infection (commonly Candida albicans) that can be found in the genital areas, armpits and between the toes. Both men and women can get thrush and it can be passed on through sexual activity. Symptoms depend on the location off the infection and include, redness, inflammation, soreness and discharge Our pharmacist can prescribe creams and oral medication to help resolve the symptoms of thrush.
